How to Search Baldwin County Court Records

Baldwin County Court System
Baldwin County is the Twenty-Eighth Judicial Circuit of Alabama. Baldwin County Courthouses
The main state-court location is the Baldwin County Courthouse in Bay Minette. The same court site also lists state-court satellite courthouses in Fairhope and Foley, and traffic payment instructions use the venue printed on the ticket. Probate services are spread across Bay Minette, Fairhope, Foley, and Robertsdale, but marriage certificates are recorded only at the Bay Minette Probate Office location.

Baldwin County Circuit Clerk Records
Circuit Clerk Brenda Ganey is the records clerk for Baldwin County Circuit and District Court files. The clerk page says the office manages pleadings, collects fines and fees, prepares subpoenas, issues notices, manages jury work, and maintains court divisions that include Civil, Criminal, Domestic Relations, Child Support, Traffic, Juvenile, and Warrants. The clerk's page also says court records are electronically imaged, which explains why many trial-court records appear in state systems while local copies and certifications still run through the clerk.
The Baldwin record request form is the strongest local fallback. It may be mailed to the Bay Minette courthouse or faxed to 251-937-0277. It asks for the case number if known, date of birth or alias when helpful, certification choice, requester contact details, and whether records should be mailed or emailed. The form says to allow two weeks, fees must accompany the request, personal checks are not accepted, and the office only has Baldwin County Circuit and District Court records.

Baldwin County Probate Records
Baldwin County Probate Court records and probate recording records use separate systems. Probate Court iQuery lets users query public probate records and view event, citation, charge, court note, and docket information. The system is updated nightly and is generally available all week except Sunday from 12:00 midnight to 6:00 a.m. and posted maintenance periods. The page also says Social Security numbers are not displayed.
The Judge of Probate official-record search handles deeds and recorded documents. It can search by term, date range, recorded date filters, index-only scope, or index plus full text OCR. Baldwin County's Probate Office page says the office administers Probate Court, License Office, and the Recorder's Office, with locations in Bay Minette, Fairhope, Foley, and Robertsdale. Baldwin County Criminal Records
Criminal court records are not the same as arrest records or statewide criminal-history reports. In Baldwin County, felony prosecutions are Circuit Court matters, while misdemeanors are generally District Court matters. Baldwin County Warrant Records
No official Baldwin County active-warrant list was found in the inspected sheriff sources. The Sheriff's FAQ gives a more specific path: a person who thinks a warrant may have been issued should go to the Baldwin County Sheriff's Corrections Center and speak to someone in the Docket Room.
