Baldwin County Sheriff App
The sheriff app listing is directly relevant to inmate search. The App Store source identifies the app as Baldwin County Sheriff AL by Baldwin County Sheriff's Office / BCSO. Its description says the app offers public inmate views, locating sex offenders in the area, information on joining the team, and more. It also says the app is not for emergency reporting and emergency users should call 911. Version history noted an updated inmate search feature in version 3.0.0 and later performance and design improvements.

The official app supports public inmate views and sex-offender location features, but the research did not prove an app-only warrant search feature.
Baldwin County Inmate Visitation
All visitors must create an ICSolutions account and schedule visits through the vendor listed on the sheriff inmate-services page. Users may use www.icsolutions.com or the ICS Mobile app. The page notes that iOS users should take the device out of dark mode because ICS Mobile for iOS is not compatible with dark mode. Visitors need a valid state-issued driver's license or ID. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Only four people may visit at a time, including children, and visits are limited to 25 minutes. Missed scheduled visits count toward the weekly allowance. Visitors not allowed include co-defendants, parties actively involved in a domestic violence case, and anyone with an active warrant.
The visitation rules also bar conduct that can stop or suspend a visit. The sheriff source lists driving during a video visit, smoking or vaping, drinking alcohol, exposing oneself or another person, gambling, inappropriate clothing, and other conduct deemed inappropriate by the Visitation Officer. Two or more unattended scheduled visitation appointments within 30 days may result in suspension of video privileges, so a missed appointment can affect later access even when no in-person trip was involved.
Baldwin County Inmate Funds
Inmate deposits can be made by cash, debit, or credit card at a kiosk in the Public Docket Lobby. Internet deposits are through team3.inmatecanteen.com, and the inmate-services page lists Kimble's FBD / Turnkey assistance at 706-298-4974. The FAQ also references older or additional deposit channels through CyberSuite / MyCarePack, including a kiosk in the docket lobby, phone 1-866-394-0490, or MyCarePack.com. The current inmate-services source should control if vendor details differ.
Inmates can use trust-account funds for commissary purchases, emails, messages, and tablet purchases such as e-books, music, and movies. Commissary purchases are for approved food and personal items. Telephone service is through ICSolutions, with customer care at 1(888) 506-8407. Prepaid account checks or money orders may be sent to ICSolutions, Attn: Customer Service Department / Prepaid Account, 2200 Danbury Street, San Antonio, TX 78217.
Tablet services include free books, educational and religious programming, and a law library. Paid tablet services include books, music, videos, movies, emails, and messaging. Paid services incur a $4 monthly rental fee before paid-service use. Attorney emails are not privileged and can be monitored, and tablet funds are separate from the inmate trust account.
Baldwin County Jail Mail
Mail rules changed in a way that should not be missed. Starting 9-1-2025, mail sent to other addresses will be rejected. Standard non-legal friends and family mail must be addressed to: Inmate Name - Inmate ID, Baldwin County Jail, AL, PO Box 76550, Highland Heights, KY 41076. Incoming mail must include inmate name and inmate ID, return address, be no larger than 8.5 x 11, no thicker than light card stock, and able to be scanned. Noncompliant standard non-legal mail will be destroyed. Pictures are the only permitted enclosure, up to 10 photographs per package, printed on photo paper. Personal written incoming mail is delivered digitally, and hard copy may be requested by the inmate upon release.
The mail restrictions are specific. Prohibited items include stamps, blank envelopes, stationery, cash, checks, currency except money orders, packages, address labels, stickers, homemade cards, musical cards, non-white envelopes or paper, tracing paper, coloring-book pages, internet printouts, colored pages, raised decorations, paint, whiteout, glue, liquids, and colored ink or marker drawings. Mail with threats, contraband plans, escape or crime information, jail-rule violations, solicitation, codes, gang insignia, obscene language, or provocative material is also barred. Those limits are part of the mail process, not the inmate roster itself.
Attorney visitation has two options: video visitation and on-site visitation. Attorney video visits scheduled by attorneys are set not to record, and assigned public defenders receive video visitation at no cost after status verification. On-site attorney visitation is Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., except blackout times. On-site visits must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance by calling Inmate Visitation at 251-580-2581.
Baldwin County State Inmates
County jail search is not always the right system after sentencing. Once a person is sentenced to state prison, Alabama Department of Corrections resources may be the correct fallback.
